Description of 78120 Shoofly Small Orange Leggings (Size 20)

Durable loose fitting boots made of lightweight, breathable plastic mesh. Lower edge finished in felt to eliminate embedded wild oats, burrs and foxtails. Plastic mesh enables vital air circulation around the horse's legs, and does not restrict blood flow or range of motions. Patented dual plastic sewn-in stays create stability and eliminate sagging. Heavy-duty easy-to-attach Velcro ensures durability and wear-ability. The chemical-free Shoofly Leggins reduce stressful stomping which leads to hoof damage and leg fatigue. Size: Small (13.5" Length x 13.5" Circumference Bottom x 17.5" Circumference Top).

As ordered and seems very durable

Product came quickly and as described. The size was right and at first glance it seems to help against flying and pounding.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Great product for horses

We bought these for our horses and they work great. They repel flies. Our horses wear them 24/7. Never go back to flying boots

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • don't remember

Good product - Equestrian

A different type of padding on the underside that doesn't penetrate the fleece as much. They wash well in the washing machine and keep their shape. They also kept my horse from stamping and breaking his legs. It's also much easier to spot my horse in the field.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Difficult to remember but it was

These boots don't tie and I leave them on my horses 24x7

I like that I can leave them 24x7 days. Flies don't fly from above, they're pretty open. My only complaint is that I'm a big-boned Warmblood and can't wear them. You are too small. Even big ones. Why don't you do XL?

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not the best

A very good buy. for horseback riding

I liked it. I have an all white horse and have used so many fly products on his legs. I had to replace packaging every day and it was expensive. Other Velcro shoes with Velcro would have holes, wear out quickly and would never fit her. These flying boots are amazing! Best thing I've ever done for flies.

Pros
  • Feel good
Cons
  • Don't know

Comfortable and durable

My older horse suffers terribly from fly bites on his shin every summer. We have been making snug fitting Velcro for many years and I usually have to change them in the middle of summer because my horse moves a lot. Love these loose boots and see no sign of bleeding from a fly bite. They hold up great and can be used again next summer. To win!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some bugs

The best flight boots I've ever tried and hard to find.

These xxxcs are really hard to find because they are very popular and they work well. They don't stretch and repel flies. I had to wait over 6 weeks for a pair from the website I order from. They said they were in stock and the next day I got an email saying both pairs (different sizes and colors were out of stock) so I went here and got them 2 days later. Thank goodness because I bought a different brand of flu boots, they were actually the same brand as the bed sheet I bought and within 2…

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

They really work in sport

I confess I didn't think they would work. They are open at the top, thought flies could get in. The flies not only don't get in, they don't even land around the hole. I've been using them for the second year now. My horses' hooves are in better shape because they don't stamp, my period is in better shape because I don't have to apply fly spray all day. I actually think I'm saving money by using a lot less fly spray. I would say this is the last fly season, 4 or 5 months. I leave them on 24/7…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Protection
