I didn't like that the meat always revolves around regular skewers, so I chose flat ones. It's much better this way and I can also make minced meat skewers.

These skewers are great for cooking coobide. We're glad they don't have handles - they're easier to clean and dry. You just need to use oven mitts to remove them from the grill. The processing is clean, without burrs. Regarding the question asked above, these skewers are not exactly 1 inch wide (see photo), but that's not a problem for us.

Can't ask for more! Being new to Persian cuisine, I did a little research and found that "real" chefs use handleless flat kebabs for convenience. This was a pleasure to use! Make no mistake, this is a frontier weapon, so please be careful when opening the complex transparent plastic case (a hazard in itself). The included scraper was a nice touch.
