This cable is not safe, it can burn you like my wife. The connector melted, expelling hot black plastic from the USB-C port. The phone was not connected at this time. It was connected to the original Motorola 5a charger which never had any problems.

This cable worked well until after about 30 minutes of charging my phone from the battery it got dangerously hot and almost melted on my phone's charging port. The small end of the cord was so hot it burned my fingers. This cable failed (dangerously hot) after only two months

While end to end is just under 7 inches long, the actual cable without the ends is only 4 inches, which for my use means I now have to buy a 90 degree adapter to make this Cable work for my purpose. I've measured several other cables from 3ft to 9ft and they don't include ends. But the quality seems to be very good.

When it was new it charged my Note 9 quickly. After 11 months and about 20-30 uses, charging is very slow. I have an application that displays charging current; The Samsung factory cable still reads 2.5 amps. This cable shows 0.2 amps. I know that Chinese copper strands have segmented strands rather than continuous strands, which could explain the decrease in circuit continuity.

Not properly finished or assembled. The slightest touch on the USB-C port breaks the connection. It looks like the USB-C end is too loose. The slightest wobble leads to an immediate break in contact. I have tried several models from this brand. All the same. So far none of the other brands I've bought from Revain have had any issues.

UPDATED: I have upgraded this from 1 star to 3 stars. I contacted the company and let them know what happened. They assured me that all of their cables had been checked and that there might have been a foreign object/debris on the phone end of the cable that could have caused a short. They have sent a new telegram and seem very sincere in their messages, so I have no reason to doubt their statements. Even more impressive is that they sent a replacement even though we ordered them over 2.5 years
