My husband loves this early birthday present. He makes homemade kale and sauerkraut and this shredder works great! It saved him a lot of time and it's nice to have consistency in cut pieces.

This is great for Coleslaw! Cabbage cuts nice and thin. I've also used it to chop carrots, onions, and peppers. This works well for any hard veg (nothing soft like tomatoes). The glove prevents cuts. I definitely recommend wearing the supplied glove!

Great company. They contacted me immediately after my first check and fixed the problem. I used this product once to shred cabbage to make sauerkraut. It worked great. It was hand washed and immediately dried. Two months later I wanted to use it again and the wood warped making it unusable.

Perfect finish. Very sharp. The chopper glove really protects your fingers. Application: Starting at the end of the stem, a quarter of the cabbage. Hold the section of cabbage so the outside corner slides over the knives. As for me, I prefer to grind up the outer leaves and discard the mostly hard part of the core. I am very happy with this for coleslaw and homemade fermented sauerkraut.

I really like this chopper made from nice beach wood. This is the only one I've seen with interchangeable blades. I shredded a few dozen cabbages and a bunch of other veggies. It works great and produces nice little pieces that are perfect for sauerkraut or coleslaw. I have read many complaints about this product buckling. Bought this product in 2017. The first time I cut cabbage perfectly. After that, it became useless or unusable. The reason was that after the first use, we washed the product, put it away for storage and then tried to use it again, but the wood was very warped, which became unusable. Spent $39 for just one use - it sucks. I want the company to do a little research and apply that sharp edge to something that doesn't change after a wash.
