Sigma Art series prime lenses are renowned for their quality and price. The 35 f/1.4 Art is no exception. I shot it side by side with a Canon 35 f/1.4L II and they are almost identical in image quality and construction. At less than half the price of Canon, it's an easy decision. Getting your hands on the ART 35 is one thing, but getting all the extra features for the same price is exceptional! First, the lens is phenomenal. A few years ago Sigma had crappy lenses that made me pull my hair out while wearing them. Too much back focus or no focus at all. This is a fantastic lens. All of the lenses in the Sigma Art series have been fantastic. Now I have 24mm, 35mm and 50mm. I currently have a Tamron 85 1.8 that will be replaced with a Sigma 85 1.4. That's how I liked my other devices. Fair warning, you'll need a USB docking station to update firmware on all of these devices. I had HUGE focus issues with all three prior to the firmware update.
