This lens is worth it!

This lens is freaking cool! I use it on my a6500 and the autofocus is great. It's not loud like my Sigma 30mm. The field of view is also perfect! The additional accessories that come with the lens are very good, especially the lens case and memory card. I have to say that delivery from Focus cameras was lightning fast. I ordered this lens late Monday evening and it was on my doorstep the next day.

Best Digital Camera Accessories

This is a huge improvement over the 16-50mm kit lens. Completely changes the image quality. The attached image is straight from the camera and converted to JPEG without any processing. Colour, sharpness and ISO performance are top notch. This is true Zeiss quality for consumer money, about 1/3 the cost of a comparable lens. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Terrible

If My Name Isn't Enough. This lens is a big disappointment. Bought because of the great reviews of the Sigma 35mm full frame lens so I was hoping this 16mm crop lens would be just as great. Not at all! This lens has such bad front focus! And then the focus is not up to date. I used this on my Sony a6000 and at first I thought it was just my camera or a firmware update issue but after doing this and seeing the perfect focus from my Tamron 27mm-70mm I realized that it wasn't my camera! 📷 Tip for beginners: consider the frame sensor

This is the second time I've used a Sigma lens on my Sony camera. I've used them in the past (on my Canon cameras) and they've certainly improved my image/video sharpness and colour, added nice bokeh and made autofocus MUCH easier. I would consider all the praise justified, these lenses really are the best for a brand other than Sony. As a beginner/hobbyist, you should consider the image sensor when purchasing a lens for your camera. I have an a6400 and this lens looks more like a 24mm lens…

With all the positive reviews I was dying to try this lens and I think it's a very good deal on a 16mm f1.4 autofocus lens. The first lens I came across was completely dead!
