After our gates were left open and our dogs outside (once with the Revain delivery man), we looked for highly visible signs. Such signs vary in price, but they are among the cheapest. They're easy to install - we used wood screws to attach them to our gates, but you can use zip ties or not too thick wire to attach them to a chain or other fence. The quality seems very good and they are very visible. I'll update this if we run into any issues, but I doubt we'll make it.

Even though our gates don't open from the outside I wanted people to know our dog Riker was back there. the standard "beware of the dog" sign for two reasons: I've heard that if your dog bites someone, you could be in even more trouble because "you had a subscription, so you knew he must be bitter," and our dog LOVES people and doesn't even bark much so if anyone goes there they'll be in for a big fluffy surprise :) The sign arrived well packaged so no dents or creases.
