🔌 Black SIIG USB 3.0 Active Repeater Cable - 20 Meters (JU-CB0811-S1) Review

We needed to upgrade the webcam which luckily was only USB 2.0 so I bought two of these hoping for daisy chaining. This cable comes with a power adapter, but is not needed when using 2.0 technology. The active amp in the middle of the cable is a great design and comes in handy if you FORGET TO CONSIDER THE EXTRA 3 FEET of cables I already had to the USB wall jack. I've tried 4 different Revain cables to connect my Logitech c920 webcam and this is the ONLY 4 cables that worked. I've tried various TNP USB extenders and others and they seemed to work intermittently, or certain device functions were unreliable or not recognizing the camera, but this one works fine. My goal in purchasing this cable was to bundle it with a 20m DisplayPort optical cable to give an extra long extension for mine Valve Index to get virtual reality helmet. The end result was unsatisfactory. I can use the headset with no lag when I'm on a different floor of the house from my PC, but the pass-through cameras don't work.
