The spring on the hinged door is getting weak and it's almost impossible to get it back into the grooves. Without a flap door, it becomes a useless pellet bowl.

We are very happy with our purchase. We have ordered two and plan to buy more. They keep the hay clean so it doesn't get scattered all over the playground or rabbit hutch.

Not suitable for children. They always crumble when filled with hay. My husband, son and I have all cut each other more than once trying to get them together. If we could find a way to keep them from falling apart that would be great.

Bought these as an alternative to those sold in pet shops. They don't work much better than these, however, and the hay will fall out if you put in too much. I still like them better than the pet store hay racks, but I was expecting a little better quality from them.

I really wanted this to work but both arrived damaged. The springs that hold the hay in place have been removed from the plastic notch. This product came in two packages. The two mechanisms on the back don't even seat properly to lift the metal part of the feeder.

The hay feeder works well. Easy to install, but there is one downside. The wire door that holds the hay in place can be easily removed. And reinstallation may be a problem due to spring. There is nothing to hold the wire tabs in the loops. A retro fit with 3/16 rivets and a washer to hold them in place.
