Choosing between Cricut and Cameo? TOTALLY GO CAMEO!

I've had Cricut for 7 months, the worst experience I've ever had. 3/4 of the things I made were messed up. HORRIBLE SOFTWARE BUT SILHOUETTE CAMEO 4. BEST BUY I'LL EVER MAKE AS A STICKER BUSINESS OWNER! Easy to use, creates very complex cuts and does it perfectly. Didn't break anything. BEST cutter for stickers and cards. TAKE! Some of the stickers I made. LeafMeAloene.com I've had it for 1 week and it brings poop straight to Cricut. It's that easy to use. I swear it's fast, the settings areโ€ฆ

  • Full Set

Switching to a faster car is worth it!

I love Cameo 4, I used Cameo 2 and 3 along with the original Cricut expression. I use all my machines with SCAL (cuts off a lot of course). I use all types of card for my online die cutting business and I have 3 machines running at the same time. The best thing about Cameo 4 is the speed, it's much faster even compared to 3. Also, I usually have to "cut repeatedly" and not with this machine. works perfectly the first time. Paper ejection and feeding are also faster and smoother. The digitalโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Available in white only

I've been using Cameo for many years. I have 2 and 3. I also have Cricut Maker. Cricut cuts the skin, I just don't like the software and neither does the silhouette software. I was looking forward to using it for cutting leather as it has a lot more grammage than 3. Well, you still can't cut it with an automatic blade and knife, craft paper and slingshot blades aren't on the market yet. Silhouette was unaware of the publications. They did what Cricut did and people were angry about itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 3mm gap for thicker materials. Automatic tool recognition. Elegant, compact, with sliding lid and illuminated touch panel.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Never worked as advertised. Now after 7 weeks it no longer works!

I bought the Cameo 3 in 2017 and I'm very happy with it. After learning how to use a variety of settings on a variety of materials, the Cameo 3 worked extremely well - mainly cutting thick card stock and foil! We recently received a large order of face shields. It overheated several times when cutting (more than) sheets of transparent film. I read that cooling with a fan helped. We got it - worked fine - but anticipating that we might need to replace it before completing this order I decided to

Pros
  • Bluetooth wireless cutting. Ability to register printing and cutting. Compatible with PixScan. Managed by Silhouette Studio, gives you unlimited customization options to customize your designs.
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Highly Recommended: Trial and Error Learning

I will review these Keep updating your review I am interested in vinyl cutting and making After 20 minutes of failing and fussing I was able to create perfect vinyl cuts The reason for the first couple of failed attempts was having Ratchet Blade selected in the SEND menu which looked like a ratchet with numbering and ruled lines. I was more surprised that initially the cameo 4 couldn't detect the installed auto blade. Then I reset to auto blade and selected SEND. The test cut failed. The bladeโ€ฆ
