I was rolling out the crust on this mat when I noticed the red had shifted onto the crust as I rolled it out. Now I'm scared of this rug and threw away the dough I used. I will most likely throw this rug away. I am so disappointed. It stuck well to the table and I really loved it until I noticed the red color was leaving the mat and soaking into the dough.

I loved this look and wanted it to replace my last silicone mat that I use to cover my ceramic plate. I'm not a chef but I wanted to protect the hob and use it as an extra work surface. When I put this on my black hob there were so many air bubbles I couldn't get rid of it looked awful. Also, I folded it back when using the little backburner. After about 45 minutes I rolled it back and the smoke started coming through the mat above the burner. Don't ask me why but it was and I returned it.

OMG Wonderful! I've used a Tupperware baking mat for many years in a row, so-so. I purchased the Exta Large silicone mat and couldn't be happier. This rug is very easy to use, clean and store. Unlike my old fragile rolled rugs. This amazing, low maintenance rug is perfect. I put it on a smooth Corning plate and it stays in place like it's magnetized. I rolled out the dough on my granite countertop. Not that bad, but what a mess. So easy to clean. I'll be making cookies and cakes more often…

We used to have a plastic baking mat but it ripped because it didn't always stick to the countertop like we had hoped. This sticks directly to the worktop and does not move. There is a learning curve between the plastic mat and this one because the plastic scraper slides over the plastic mat, but it takes less pressure and the right angle to pry the dough off it. This mat is very flexible. In use, however, its flexibility means it's difficult to lay flat on whatever surface you intend to use. When you put it down it will curl up and have air bubbles. You need to put an edge in place and then lower it evenly onto the counter so it's level (much like tinted film on a window).
