Industrial power for excellent results.

I had some tarnished silver candlesticks and an extremely valuable ornate antique coffee and tea set. They were literally black with tarnish. A guided session (important) removed about 80% of the dullness. Now all I have to do is schedule another session and maybe touch up the jewel fabric and silver polish or spray if needed to bring it back to showroom quality. Very impressive.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Some problems

Sorta works even if your silver is only lightly tarnished

So I had high hopes for this product. I read a few reviews before buying and was confident it would do the job so I bought it. The silver I tried to polish had been in a garage for over ten years and was very tarnished. I didn't want to spend hours polishing the old fashioned way (by hand with paste) so I bought this product. It removed a lot of heavy tarnish, but not to the point where it could be used without further intervention. . So I used the second pack with less dramatic resultsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Just soak cutlery in boiling water with a bag of Quickshine
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Works well, but there's an easier way to get the same results.

Easier: 1 saucepan large enough to contain or thoroughly submerge the silver object to be polished, 1 liter of water, 1 sheet of aluminum foil, 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Line the bottom of the pan with foil (not necessarily neat, just put it there). Add water and baking soda. Heat to boil. Remove from heat and immediately add silver. Leave on for about 5 minutes, remove carefully (very hot) and buff with a soft cloth. More polish? Replace the foil in the sparkling water, add another 1/2โ€ฆ

Pros
  • 4-pack
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I used this to restore my very fine, thin silver jewellery, ie with finishes, beads and details too small to polish successfully creams, treated fabrics etc. The product works but not as well as I would have hoped for heavily tarnished items, it takes two or more treatments to make them wearable again. I followed the instructions, and based on my experience I have the following tips: 1. Put a fine sieve over the sink drain, just in case; 2. The pouch will float when boiling water is poured into

Pros
  • Tarnish goes away with electrolysis
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
