These towels work very well. They clean most jewelry quickly and safely. We had some issues with it getting stuck in some of the ring settings. We had to pull out the tweezers to remove the tangled fibers. Safe for gilded and gilded items. It is not recommended to use them on objects such as coins or polished surfaces due to the risk of scratching. Also use it to clean tarnished brass and copper. Not really that effective on these items, but I wasn't expecting them to work that well.
