Description of SILYNX Radio Adapter Connecter Kenwood

Compatible with a series of tactical headsets, the plug is Kenwood 2-pin. Not applicable to military version. Not compatible with the original version of the headset. Clip of push to talk has a good bite force which can hold your clothes strap tightly and wouldn't fall off easily during moving. Ideal length of the cable, it will not get in the way for you. Made of ABS materials, strong and not easy to burst. This adaptor has a good solid trigger, a strong and solid clip and what seems to be good heavy duty wire.

Disappointing Adapter with Poor Performance

If you're looking for a reliable radio adapter, then this product is not for you. I wasted my hard-earned money on this device, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. Electronics shouldn't be this unreliable, and this adapter certainly falls short. As my tests showed, the adapter has weak connections, and the sound quality is terrible. The only pro is that it is easy to set up, but that's about it. I would advise anyone to look for a different option, and not waste their money on…

Pros
  • Enables communication with Kenwood radios
Cons
  • Only compatible with Kenwood radios

The button clicks very loudly

This might be the best cheap PTT except the button has an insanely loud and shrill click. I know when you want to talk you squeeze it and make a noise, but it's so loud it's like you're playing with one of those toy clicky frogs. Another cheap PTT isn't as great in design, but it doesn't have that damn squeaky click.

Pros
  • The ideal length of the cable, it won't bother you.
Cons
  • little things

It works with a little manual work.

Purchased at the end of September. Unfortunately my headset was ordered and didn't arrive until November so I didn't have time to return it if it didn't work. I'm just lucky that's exactly what happened. I connected the headset to the adapter and to my Baofeng uv5r radio. I could hear speech at a very muffled rate and when I tried the PTT the audio was just static. Since I couldn't get them back, I started playing around with them. I took my soldering iron and swapped the red and yellow wires…

Pros
  • Made of ABS material, durable and not easy to burst.
