As others have said. The socket on these lamps works perfectly, but the clips on it do not work. No matter how you put the braces on, they don't hold up. I even tried adjusting them and even added extra cables around the clamp hoping to make it tighter. no, it didn't work. waste of money.

I've used 3-4 of these with grow lights over the last few years with no problems. The rubber bands are very strong and don't slip easily, but the wing nut that adjusts the angle loosens a bit over time, requiring tightening every few weeks. There are no heat issues when used with LED grow lights and they are barely powerful enough to hold heavy pink/blue grow lights. My only complaint is that I wish the cord was a foot or two longer.
