I bought this in December to prepare for the chicks in April. Yesterday I discovered that it does not radiate heat even if left overnight. I would like a refund if possible, even if I'm past the return date. Please let me know.

for the chicken coop! Love the fact that it doesn't light up the chicken coop and makes her bedroom nice and cozy during the winter months! This lightbulb is much better than the red heat lamps that light up the room with red light at night! I would recommend this and plan on buying another one to have on hand!

I was looking for an inexpensive way to keep warm while working on the computer. So a heat lamp that uses only 100 watts seemed like a great solution to me. The ceramic heater worked perfectly. I keep it about 9 inches from my feet. The only downside is that I sometimes forget to turn off the heating because it doesn't give off any light. Luckily, it's not expensive at all to run at 100 watts all night.

Does what it's supposed to do, but I'd like to buy more power. Growing garden plants in the basement where the temperature is below 60 degrees. I partially covered the area with plastic and reflective material with a small computer fan to keep it cool. The area is approximately 4ft x 2ft x 3ft and does little to raise the ambient temperature when blown by the fan. Better than nothing, but the warmth can hardly be felt more than a foot away. But for the price you can't go wrong
