📦 Black Foldable Closet Laundry Hamper Basket by SimpleHouseware Review

This laundry basket is perfect for my dorm. It's stylish and a decent size. The only issue I have is that the basket isn't very practical when you're carrying a lot of heavy laundry. The grips in this case are not very comfortable. This is only a problem because I have to walk quite a distance to wash my college clothes.

I've had this basket for a few months now and although I loved it at first I was starting to have concerns about durability. Basically it just sits in the corner of my bedroom because I rarely go to the laundry and the seam is already starting to unravel (as shown in the picture). I still think it's good, but for the price, I think it has unlimited shelf life.

Basket not assembled well. Instead of making full pieces of cardboard on the sides, they make the bottom in the form of pull-out pieces that you fold into the bottom to make it taller and then add the bottom piece. This causes the basket to collapse at the bottom. I put the blankets in the basket and after about 2 hours the floor showed clear signs of starting to collapse. See the photo of the dent. I've been looking for a Landry bag like this for a long time on the internet, but I just couldn't stop. When my newborn was born I was faced with a decision and that's when I came across this wonderful laundry bag. I just soak all my clothes and it makes my life easier. I use a cloth laundry bag inside, and when it's time to do laundry, I just take out the cloth bag. I liked them a lot and now I have two of them. One in the children's room and one in our room.

My wife and I have used a multi-compartment trolley for years. After two blocks broke we decided to go back to basics with a detached block. I bought three because I have obsessive compulsive disorder. These blocks hold their shape well and are a decent size to hold all the laundry that will fit in our new front loading washing machine. They're lightweight so moving them won't be a problem, and the handles are comfortable and durable. We've been using it for a few months now with no complaints.

My daughter needed a new basket as her basket was sagging and no longer holding its shape but we loved the design of the canvas. It's easy for her to see when it's full and she can easily carry it up and down stairs to do laundry, so we wanted a similar design and size that would hold up to washing a full load of clothes. This basket is of course supplied flat and to assemble you open it up into a cube with the inner flaps folded down to reach basket height. The top half is pretty strong because it has actual walls, and the bottom half is made up of these movable flaps that keep popping off. By simply sitting down on the floor, the doors will slowly move inward, causing the entire basket to sag.
