Simplehuman BT1035 Fold Away Squeegee Review

I keep ordering them. They are great for the shower. The downside is I only use them in the shower and I have to keep buying them because the rubber keeps falling off. I can't find anything I like that much, so I keep ordering. I wish there was a tool included to tighten the rubber piece instead of throwing it away.

Need a shower door scraper but nowhere to hang; just a small shelf. When folded, it almost disappears. Very easy to put on and use. I would have preferred it to be reinforced at the scraper ends because it can slide off the edge of the shower door frame too easily. All in all a satisfactory solution for a quick wipe after showering.

This is my second purchase. I've had the other one for years but I want to use the other one for the windows and keep the new one in the shower. It really keeps my shower glass sparkling clean and the tiles clean (much less shower time and no water stains on the glass!). Works exactly as expected. Why did I buy this product? Well, it can be used in a number of situations (e.g. early morning car window, house mirror, etc.). However, here is a little trick for fogged up windows and glass in the bathroom. Bathtub glass doors dry on their own which allows scale to build up, use a scraper and you'll never have to clean glass with CLR or Windex again! Try brushing it off after extensions and you'll see what I'm talking about. Recommendation: USE A WIPER

Bought thinking it will be durable as it is metal. Worked well, but the rubber is now separated from the metal channel. I figured I could put the rubber back into the channel and tighten what at first appeared to be allen screws to secure the rubber back in place. My bad eyes have deceived me. The rubber is not held in place by socket head screws but by rivets which are obviously worse as one side the rivet has failed. As with many long term reviews of this mop, the pivot will loosen over time. Rather than just tightening it, which may not solve the leakage problem, I recommend removing the hex bolt and inspecting the assembly. The black spacers on either side should fit into the notches. the middle metal part could detach from the outer frame and prevent attachment. As others have pointed out, it leaves water around the edges; Excess rubber on each side of the metal flops everywhere and doesn't "roll out". Also, it leaves quite a bit of water behind when you stop. Also, water doesn't run off when you pump it through the air to remove excess moisture, which I think is the hallmark of a good scraper. I like this scraper. I'm the type of person who wipes down the shower when I'm done to keep it clean and mold free and the foldable scrubber is great for our apartment bathroom.
