Yes they are more expensive but they fit perfectly and the quality is excellent. To my knowledge I paid more for the bin because I wanted better quality and the same goes for the bin bags. Not seeing them bunch up and stick out of the sides makes me very happy. I also appreciate the packaging system and the little tag that reminds you when it's time to order a new set. If you have a basic human trash can, just accept the fact that you will need it too and move on.

Three packs of 20 clear plastic bags per carton. Both the packaging and the box have the same cut outs to allow the box to remain as a pop up dispenser. These are absolutely terrible garbage bags. I bought a very expensive plain trash can a few months ago and the white bags that came with it worked fine. I bought this box without realizing until I opened it that they are in fact clear sachets and not the white ones that came with the tin. The first clear bag in this box broke as soon as I tried to remove the bag from the tin. It was quite full so it stuck in the pocket a bit but wasn't holding anything heavy but as soon as I tried to pull on it

Honestly after using the sample liners that came with our amazing Simplehuman Dual Waste/Recycling Center we used high standard kitchen garbage bags. About two weeks. it's a pain Perhaps others are more tolerant of bag tears, misfits, struggle to get them tight because they are too big, and then return the can without removing the liner. Or maybe others are more coordinated and patient, I know people use them. I'm not those people. These bags fit perfectly. Don't fuss, it's perfect every time…
