I can't wait to try

is very cute and I hope my daughter will find it easy to follow. We haven't tried it yet but will soon so she can sew her 4 hour clothes.

good pattern . . but not for complete beginners

I love this pattern - I've made both vests - and the end results are very cute. But no vest is particularly light. By sewing yards of bias stripes onto a long vest or turning a lined vest inside out and then adding borders, this pattern will be a bit rich for a beginner.
