📏 SINGER 00218: High-Quality 60-Inch Tape Measure for Accurate Measurements Review

I bought this device to replace a band that my pup chewed in half. The new one is missing the first 1/8 inch. So if you start measuring at 2, you CAN be accurate. Pink is Singer, Blue is my old Dritz.

Page in inches away. I compared with another tape measure and they don't match at all. The page in centimeters is fine. If you want to use this tape in inches, DO NOT buy it. Also, this item is listed as a prime item, but it is NOT. Came from China almost a month.

I bought this tape on purpose because it had a hole in the end. I have a regular compressed end that moves or falls off over time like any other I've used. I am so disappointed! So if you are looking for this cassette, don't worry about this one, they lure and change!

The inch on the ribbon you received is calibrated completely wrong. If you measure something in cm and inches and convert it, you get an error of about 30%, and this is a geometric value, which means that the longer the object, the larger the error. I'm honestly amazed how I received such a defective item given all the positive reviews on here. This is a tape measure, it has a purpose, and mine only works in metric. I think it's time to finally make the switch.

I use it for body measurements and nothing else so my review is not for those who use it for sewing or other more precise purposes. The material is durable and actually sticks to the skin a bit, making the job a lot easier. I've read several reviews claiming that the first inch of the tape measure is actually 1/8 shorter, but I haven't had this defect. The dimensions are all there and the metal parts at the ends are securely fixed - no slipping.
