The cabinetry and finish are perfect. This is well suited to showcase your favorite watch. It runs perfectly silent, at least to my old ears. I also have their double-watch version which is equally beautiful and silent, and doesn't cost much more than the single, plus it has a much nicer control panel under the cover, instead of a couple of knobs on the back. Either one is highly recommended, but I'd spend a few bucks more for the double version.

I have had this CHIYODA Watch Winder for Single Automatic Watches Solid Wooden Box with Mabuchi Motors, about 30 days and it is working well for me. I am using it for my Rolex Datejust which is a heavy watch and band. So far so good.

Really great for the price, but don’t expect too much from it. Definitely audible, nothing crazy but if the room it’s in is quiet you will hear it. Wish that the magnet latch for the door was a tad stronger as well. Had it for over a year now and it’s still working great though!

I purchased the Chiyoda watch winder after my current winder bit the dust. After reading the reviews and the product information I tried to give the Chiyoda a try. I have been extremely impressed with the overall design, quality of the construction, and the extremely quiet winding motor. I have owned several watch winders through the years and the Chiyoda is the best by far. I highly recommend this winder.
