Great for minimalists whose dining table is their bed as it's cheap, can be used in the microwave and its high sides prevent food from spilling. over the comforter :D The cover is great too, although I wish the clips were attached right down the middle on each side rather than on each side of the clip. UPDATE: These dishes are dangerous. Older models had gaskets to prevent steam from escaping, but now they cause scalding because the gasket was removed during production. The clamps are tight, now they're so loose that they pop open every time you pick up a bowl and you either burn yourself on hot food or it splatters on your hand. I bought this dish to cook mains and sides in hotel microwaves. This item is large enough to steam vegetables for four people.
