Sizzix Big Shot Express Electric Die Cutting Machine with 6-inch Opening Review

I received the car in less than perfect condition. The cables in the machine were unkempt, not what they normally should be. Then I pulled out of the car. It's very durable and the engine seemed slower than expected for a new car. Then I took out the cutting plates and they were scratched, it looks like someone even tried to carve something small. New machines usually have crystal clear panels when first started. It was obvious that this was not a new car as others had assumed. I returned it.

It cut solidly on the motor side and not the other side. I tried using a layer of cardboard as a spacer and it still didn't cut. Updated: 08/20/17. There is a sticker on the bottom stating that opening will void the warranty. Since the product is no longer guaranteed, I decided to take it apart to see why it was cutting unevenly. After using the sizzix big shot plus and trying out another electric punch, we are more than satisfied with the Tramp. While it doesn't require any larger matrices, as a plus it's accurate and compatible with any matrices that will fit inside. Embossing works well too. I've been using this Vagabond 2 every day since I received it and I absolutely love it. If you're tired of cars flying over your table while slicing, rest assured that this vagabond isn't going anywhere. It's heavy and so quiet. Cutting small thin dies is very easy and you don't have to send them through 2 or 3 times. Effectively cuts even the smallest details.
