The velcro on the sides comes off very easily and after only a few wears some of the lights in one shoe did not match the color my son was also wearing. After a few more wears, one shoe would be difficult to turn off and now it just won't turn on. My son loved the lights but they just don't last long, especially for kids.

Super cool and my son loves them. However, the left boot no longer burns after wearing it several times. Very dissatisfied, kinda takes away the whole reason for the purchase.

I ordered half a size up based on other reviews and I understand why. The shoes are very hard. High velcro sucks. If you close all the Velcro, your child will detach as soon as they start walking. The son went all weird not to untie the velcro. So I loosened it so there is no ankle support, but the shoe makes no velcro noise when walking. The idea is cool, but the execution is lame. I'm glad I only paid $25 for it. He's just been trying them out on the carpet in our house since yesterday. Tired
