Shoes fit well. We are also used to the size of sketchers. My son loves the dragon face on the shoes and thinks the shoes are comfortable.

I ordered these for my dinosaur obsessed 7 year old nephew. I originally ordered a child's 1.5 but had to exchange it for a small child's 2.5 which left room for my big toe between my toe and the boot. Not sure if I was previously given the wrong size or do these shoes run small? Either way the larger size fits, my nephew loves them and my sister finds the design feels solid enough to handle his rough play. To them, the soles look like bumpers, which is really good.
