I have several pairs of Skechers and wanted to use a pair as slippers. I'll be 71 soon and live on 4 1/4 acres with no paved driveway or driveway so lots of dirt left behind no matter how careful I am. Overall I like the look of these shoes and the style is comfortable but TOO comfortable as slippers. The sides of the foot are not supported as the upper of the shoe is made of stretch material. I bought it for the exact reason that my favorite shoe brand/style changed and no longer fits my feet (not Skechers - the company that makes them changed the shoe style). I just received these sneakers today 5/8/18. They arrived in a plastic envelope wrapped tightly around the shoebox like someone wrapped it in a gift box, no kidding. The box was not damaged. The shoes were very difficult to get my foot in the hole but once on they were very comfortable. Not tight and doesn't hurt the leg at all.
