My continuous blood glucose meter did not come with protective pads. The first came off after 2 days in the shower. I put one on when I received it and it lasted almost 2 weeks. There are slight signs of wear on the edges that held it in place. Very impressive!

The Freestyle Libre sensor fell off after a day so I decided to give it a try. It lasted 14 days and didn't irritate sensitive skin. Removal was easy too. After a few days, it tends to crumble around the edges but stays put. It survived the showers and sweat. Recommended for use with Libre sensors. You may need help applying to the back of your hand.

I usually use FIXIC. Wanted to see if they were doing better. It's terrible. I ALWAYS apply to the area where my Freestyle libre 2 is after shaving, showering, using alcohol pads and applying "Sure-Prep". It came off in a day while FIXIC lasts a full two weeks and only comes off after 10-11 days. Do yourself a favor and avoid this brand.

When the sensor is placed on the back of the hand, it is difficult to position the patch directly over the sensor.
