I've been using my skull razor for over a year and have decided to try this as a replacement for the head supplied. I've seen a lot of reviews that said the old 5 blade head was better than the new ones, but I can't say I agree. The cutter is supposed to be a notch higher than the standard head, but I couldn't get a close shave with it. Maybe I'll try the new version of Baron and see if I get better results.

If you like a close shave, DO NOT buy this. No matter how many times I stroked the scalp, the hair stayed. I wet shave to get the most out of an electric shaver, but this was worse than just a dry shave with the standard triple head attachment that came with my hand shaver. The ONLY benefit would be less irritation, but I have to repeat everything so many times that my scalp still gets irritated due to the poorer quality of the shave.

First reorder was three months after the two that came with the gold set I can still use the original head blades just a little slower new blades faster I got that Best of what they sell I can use it on my face and head I have to dry shave for about two weeks to get used to it The only thing I noticed when showering is that I have to shave every other day

I bought this replacement shaving head to upgrade my Palm shaver from 3 shaving heads to 5. Wow, what a difference between 3 and 5! The three-headed Palm works well, but it feels like the device was designed specifically for my head. Very close shave and very fast. I like it! In addition, cleaning the heads is quite easy. Platinum Shaver I have had it for almost 2 years so I bought a replacement Forte when it came time to replace the head. Complete garbage! Blade Pods kept popping up over the course of a few weeks! Read the Baron replacement blade reviews and give it a try. Well to say it's superior to both the original blade and the forte is an understatement, it's the best! Closer shave, quieter blade and good construction!

I had to change the blade and saw that they developed new blades (chip with 4 heads). I was ready to buy one of these but then I read the reviews. Many argued that older models simply worked better. To update what I had, I looked at the reviews of Baron. They were convincing and I pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did. They are so smooth they are easier to shave than the blade my Putbull Silver came with. If I can live off that blade for a year, I'll think it's worth it.
