Quality base, very decent stick.

I wasn't sure what I was buying but was VERY happy with the product. The base is a decent weight, more than heavy enough to support the Vive's sensor. I was pleasantly surprised at how "sexy" or "smooth" the real blade looked. The swimming pool is "good" enough. Not the BEST quality, but perfectly functional. In fairness I would say the quality is "better than average".

Good buy, best accessory

looks great, love the glass base, feels solid and I can put it between my bed and my desk where a tripod wouldn't fit. Pros: looks good. The tripod could not move. Cons: My only complaint is that the ball joint that you place the base station on isn't very good, the thumbscrews don't thread in enough to keep the ball joint where you want it very well, so it fits the base station gives some space to rotate and/or move. Must look for a better ball joint to fix it.

Almost all parts are missing

I just received the product yesterday, installed it and am missing four tubes and one retractable tube. I don't know how that's even possible, but yes. And finally, the ball head mount actually works as shown in the picture, it just doesn't screw in at all. Kind of sad they didn't take stock before shipping which indicates weak leadership and leadership doesn't seem to matter for this company. I emailed them as if asking if I would get the product and I will be returning it. and received a…

Ordered recently. I assembled one stand without any problems, the other stand had a nut that was too big/wrong thread, so the stand could not be assembled. I emailed customer support and they were TERRIBLE. First, they didn't even reply to my email for 4 days. They then asked for pictures of the problem, which I sent them within an hour. They said they would send a new part. It's been about 10 days and they still aren't responding to further emails, providing a tracking number or any proof that

Great aesthetics, terrible assembly

I like the look of the product and the ease of assembly, but everything about the upper ball joint is poorly finished. It's extremely unstable, with the slightest touch the Vive's base banging out of position, and just one of the two stands even allows the camera to be "perfectly" positioned without it immediately sagging or tilting. Considering that mounting base stations is the whole point of the product, this is the worst mistake there can be. While it is aesthetically pleasing compared to…

Stylish, understated, BAD FOR VR SENSORS!

Bought these for my base station 2.0. Assembly was fairly easy, but everything was covered in loose fiberglass coasters making assembly awkward. Even before I installed the base stations, I noticed that the height-to-base ratio was a little less than ideal, and just walking alongside them they wobbled a bit (YMMV, since I had them on a carpeted floor, the hardwood base might be better). However, after the base stations were installed, they wobbled even more. Not good for a device that needs to…

Do not buy if you have vibrations in the ground

Materials: Cheap cheap cheap, the glass looks like it was drilled 3 years old, the metal is cheap and not even milled from one piece Threaded taps shims and stand assembly as it takes 2 seconds to look at the picture instead of trying to read poorly written instructions. It took about 10 minutes to assemble both, 8 for the first and 2 for the second. Finishing: These things TEND, I have everything as tight as I can and they will tilt as much as the base will allow, which is A LOT because the…

Does the job but room for improvement

I came to VR and didn't want to wall mount my base stations so I started looking for stands. These were pretty much the only racks that became available fairly quickly so despite the mixed reviews I went with them. I've been using them for a few months now and feel I can rate them appropriately. CONSTRUCTION QUALITY: These are definitely pretty cheap frames. Assembly is easy enough, although as others have pointed out, the instructions are pretty poor. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble…
