This stretched canvas is ideal for artists who enjoy a smooth surface to paint on .The canvas has just the right amount of give, making it suitable for both oil and acrylic paints. As a lover of Arts and Crafts, I was disappointed with this canvas. As a result of using this product, I found that the canvas was not stretched properly leaving it with uneven tension and a wavy surface. The paint did not adhere well, making it difficult to create a smooth finish. The price is enticing, but you get what you pay for - save yourself the hassle and invest in a higher quality canvas....

Great little canvas to practice my first few casts, but to make coasters out of it you'll need to make them a lot stronger.
