Description of 🔧 Slime 10012 Tire Puncture Repair Sealant - Emergency Solution for Highway Vehicles | Trucks/SUV Compatible - Non-Toxic, Eco-Friendly | 20oz Bottle

Slime Tire Sealant seeks out and instantly seals tread area punctures up to 1/4" (6mm) using Fibro-Seal Technology. Use Slime Tire Sealant with an air source for emergency tire repair on medium/large highway vehicles, such as cars, trucks and SUVs. When a puncture occurs, Slime’s patented sealant is carried directly to the source. The pressure of the escaping air forces the particles into the opening, where they build up and intertwine to form a long-lasting, flexible plug. Safe and easy to use emergency repair sealant. Use for either 3 days or up to 100 miles on highway vehicles before visiting a tire repair specialist. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Safe. Environmentally friendly. Non-toxic, non-corrosive and non-hazardous, Non-flammable, Water soluble.

saved me money - Tire and wheel tools

We had a slow leak and thought it was a bad plug but no. We had to refill it every few days. My husband revised it, it seems normal, but he bought it anyway. Well, we didn't use it properly, and then another sharp object in the same tire. Now we use until a few months has passed and it holds the air well. Since then we have not needed to refill air.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are defects

Worst Product Ever - Valve Removal And Sticky Manual Squeezing

Worst Product Ever - Valve Removal And Manual Sticky Squeezing Once you've removed the tire valve there is no guarantee it will work the same way, otherwise it might one day so its replaced. Waste of money to save a few bucks on regular, regular, refurbished bottles that let you just screw in, push down and do areosalt printing in seconds.

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Some Cons

We moved to a more populated area thanks to cellphone service

We had an apartment in the middle of nowhere with no cellphone service. I used slime and then inflated the tire with a small emergency compressor. He took us by cell phone to a gas station about an hour away. The leak was so bad that the hiss of the tire could be heard. But once the air pressure dropped to a certain psi, the leakage almost stopped, and I suspect the mucus helped provide at least an extra seal. Not a definitive solution, but it brought us back to civilization.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Unemployed

Works GREAT in tools and gadgets

I've been using Slime for years now. I had a car where the coating on my rims was wearing off and the tires were slowly losing air. I put slime in it and the problem was solved. I started using it as a prophylactic on my bikes and it worked great when picking up a nail or screw. Leaking valve stem? no problem. I have a garbage truck with air tires. Leaked from day one. I've filled tubeless tires with slime and they haven't deflated since. over a year ago. I'm a fan of this product. I use it…

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Compatibility

Works better than expected with a Sprinter 3500

I used this on a Sprinter 2500 after getting the flat, I followed the instructions and it worked surprisingly well! Do not overfill or it will start leaking, follow PSI's instructions. I ride a lot for work so I put in at least a week riding and 500 miles on this tire and cruising at 75mph with PSI fluid in it. I tested it, usually I took it immediately to fix the tire. I wanted to see how long it would last. I think a normal car lasts much longer. But I was in a very heavy 14ft 9ft work truck.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Minor issues

Fixed a slow mysterious leak on my SUV

Our SUV has gotten a few nails/screws in the tires over the last 2 years due to construction going on nearby. Every time the local tire shop tells us the punctures are "unfixable" because the punctures were less than 4 inches from the sidewall, they try to sell us new tires. Super annoying. Anyway, so far every hole has been successfully repaired by hand with those stupid plugs that look like black liquorice. But recently there was still a slow leak in a tire that we couldn't find/fix. Add…
