📻 Slive-4U: All-in-One Emergency Crank Radio, Charger, Flashlight & More for Survival Review

This is exactly what I need. During work I like to listen to the radio (talk show). The sound and signal reception of the Slive-4U is excellent. I don't have much experience with NOAA weather channels, but it would be interesting to try. I also tried turning by hand. It works. After cranking for a few minutes I can start hearing again. This will come in handy next summer when my family goes camping or my phone asks for energy on the go.

I'm a weather radio fan and this is by far my favorite. First, I like its portability, but even though it's small, it stands on its own. I also really like the automatic switchover to the weather radio. My other NOAA walkie-talkies are overly complex and come with the weather turned on. With this radio you can easily switch to AM, FM or weather channels with the same dial. The sound is clear and powerful. You will forget you are listening to a small radio. What a nifty emergency radio. I bought it as part of a hurricane emergency kit but now use it as a portable radio all the time. It's built fairly well and has excellent reception. You can charge it via the USB plug (included with the radio) by either turning the crank or inserting a couple of batteries. I have a Kaito KA500 which has similar features but is about twice the size. Kaito has some SW tapes but I didn't catch any of them. Also a reading lamp and a larger LED. Bought Slive-4U to save space in my bug bag and travel with Kaito as a home device. Taking off a star because it's not waterproof (like the Kaito) and isn't as bright as the LED.
