Works perfectly! Easy to connect

Works great! Easy to connect. Great replacement for a Fisher Price radar module that I accidentally blew up. The IF output is not a line output but a mic output, so any amp with a mic input should be able to feed it to the ADC.

It works out. suitable for car electronics accessories

This device really works. The application circuitry can be made from off-the-shelf components and the device generally handles large solid objects such as cars well. People need more signal processing software to get accurate results. Technical support was excellent. The only problem is that the device can easily be deactivated by approaching it from behind, which falsifies the measurements.

Good and bad.

This chip is a great way to break into RF systems. You MUST build an LNA (Low Noise Amplifier) for the "IF" output. You can find these on the datasheet if you google "HB100 Microwave". I currently have it connected to my Mac via Arduino and found a snippet of code to output an object's frequency and speed, basically building a police radar detector. Pros: * Cheap * Easy to use * Arduino compatible * Cool as always Cons: * Documentation isn't included but you can easily find it on Google * The…
