📷 SMALLRIG BMPCC 4K & 6K Baseplate: Arca Swiss Compatible for Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K & 6K – 2261 Review

As a result of my tests, I determined that this baseplate is poorly constructed and feels flimsy. The only positive aspect was its compatibility with Blackmagic cameras. However, the cons far outweigh any benefits. The screws are difficult to adjust and the baseplate easily shifts during use, causing frustration and ultimately compromising the quality of the footage. I would not recommend this product.

Neat purchase used. The description says there is a small cosmetic damage. I don't mind as long as the item works. Not only did I receive the wrong item, no screws were included. I had to use some of my own. And the only hole that fits my cage is cleared out. The screw only turns and does not hold the cage. I'll send it back and just buy a new one from Adorama or something.

This is a solid base plate that fits my dovetail perfectly. My only problem is the Swiss Arca release record. I wish it was a quick release system with a more convenient locking mechanism. The current one feels like it's about to pop out when you unclip it. UPDATE: After using this thing for almost a year, I REALLY regret not having bought the quick release version from Manfrotto. It doesn't look like you can swap out the Swiss bar and it will be side mounted.
