Smart Adjustable Guide Guide Sewing Machine Presser H

e The guide on this presser foot is made of flexible plastic and the stitch width is difficult to determine. It has red markings but no numbers so it's either an accident or using a ruler to mark the width on it. which would be almost impossible because the places are so tiny. Material gets caught in the plastic guide and can be very annoying. I ended up getting another quarter inch sewing foot. This is packed.

Pros
  • Suitable for low shank household sewing machines. Connection to Brother, Babylock, Singer, Elna, Janome (RE&JA series etc.), Juki, New Home, Euro-Pro, Kenmore and more.
Cons
  • Everything OK

Not suitable for Singer Stylist 7258

As you can (hopefully) see in the photos, the needle scratches the presser foot as it comes down, preventing the presser foot from being used. Also, the plastic part is quite brittle and I expect it to move from one tooth to the other fairly easily, at least with some future use. I do not recommend purchasing this foot if you have a Singer Stylist. You might consider purchasing a Singer multi-row presser foot (currently $5 more than this one).

Pros
  • Also ideal for channel quilting.
Cons
  • Obsolete

Perfect addition to my presser foot collection

I mainly quilt. But I also do other things. I really don't like struggling to move the fabric along an imaginary line. I was spoiled by my 1/4" quilting foot. This adjustable presser foot helps me when I need clothes of different widths etc. .The presser foot snaps easily as you'd expect from my Brother sewing machine. It's lightweight. Haven't verified reliability just because I haven't done extensive testing yet. But I can tell you the looks. The guides are accurate to millimeters and…

Good idea, but the fabric gets caught in the plastic guide.

I really wanted this to work well. My new sewing machine had no seam guide. I think a lot of them don't anymore, which is disappointing. So when I found this guide foot, I was blown away. Oh, that's not all. The adjustable plastic guide grabs the fabric, which then snags and smudges everything. I miss the good old Singer guides that just had a little smooth metal edge. This one will work for you - not working yet. Especially in curves. For this very reason I cannot recommend it. It grabs the…

Sewing foot Sewing

I ordered this to help make face masks for school. I ordered it along with the UV lamp to use with these masks before distributing them. When the package has been delivered to our mailbox. The package has been OPENED. Luckily the UV lamp made it into the package. No mask foot for kids trying to go to school. I've mentioned all of this before, but I'll keep mentioning it until someone fixes it. I have a very low fixed income, but I consider it more important than the few dollars I have to give…
