The black cartridge works well but the color cartridge is terrible - the colors are faded and there are either pink or orange streaks all over the area with colour, there are a lot of them. for the first time with remanufactured Canon cartridges. I don't recommend this brand for anything other than black, and even then it's a count.

Parts with small copper dots are peeling off. No matter what we do, my husband and I can't get the black cartridge to print smoothly. We aligned the heads, cleaned, deep cleaned, cleaned the bottom, cleaned the roller and cleaned the cartridge with a cotton swab and alcohol. We won't buy anymore. The color seems ok, but the ink colors are really weak everywhere, not just in those places where the black isn't saturated.

Since my printer ran out of ink I decided to order a Smart Ink cartridge for my Cannon Pixma printer and I was amazed to find it on my printer at an affordable price for two Cartridges compared to retail works great a very high priced brand that works the same but at the highest price. I was in the market looking for new inks. I usually just head over to the staples, the price matches Amazon and I'm on my way. Even, it's still about $15 more than this product! I had an issue ordering the wrong product (absolutely my fault) but the Smart Ink customer service representative was quick, friendly and incredibly helpful in sorting out the right one quickly right product. They are clearly more interested in getting repeat customers than making a quick buck and I have been very happy with the quality and price of their products. As far as I can tell they are indistinguishable from a "genuine" Canon product. I'll be using Smart Ink from here!
