The ROXIMO SCL001 smart LED controller is one of the devices in the Roximo smart home ecosystem. The controller has a compact size and can work with different types of LED strips: CCT / RGB / RGBW / RGBWW. The device can be controlled using a special application from anywhere in the world, adjust the white light temperature, adjust the brightness and color palette of the LED strip, add smart scenarios and turn on / off schedules by time, countdown, and depending on triggers such as weather, time sunset and sunrise, your location, etc. Max. power: 96W(12V) and 192W(24V). Multiple controllers, as well as lamps - can be combined into a group and control the color of all devices in the group with one touch. Integration with popular voice assistants and smart speakers: Google Assistant, Yandex Alice, Marusya by Mail. ru Group, etc. - allows you to control a smart device by voice without any additional gateways. All you need is a WiFi network.

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

I chose a model with a connection to Alice. I already have a Roximo smart switch, so the controller chose this model. Partly in order not to produce applications from different manufacturers on the phone. I connected a strip with two types of LEDs: cold and warm. Despite this, Alice sees the controller as a color one and the color temperature can only be adjusted through the native application. Brightness is regulated by Alice without problems. Pros
  • Liked: - ease of connection - self-latching terminals are quite reliable and convenient; - universality - any tapes, RGB CW WW; - integration with Alice
Cons
  • Did not like: - if you turn off the electricity supply, then turn it back on - the controller always turns on the tape, regardless of the initial state. Those. If there is an interruption in the power supply, the tape will turn on by itself. I hope they fix it in the firmware. - no activity indicator; - since there are no indicators, I struggled with the initial pairing: it only helped - hold reset for 5 seconds, the controller enters AP mode (it becomes a Wi-Fi access point itself), after that it can be seen from the phone. Then we switch to normal EZ mode; - WiFi only 2.4 GHz. No 5GHz support;
