It's loud, as expected.

This item was for our 11 month old granddaughter. She likes to knock on things and it does a great job without damaging the furniture.

Very durable toy suitable for toddlers and toddler toys

Arrived exactly as pictured, no packaging problems. However, this is where the 3 stars come from. My 11 month old can't smack anything hard enough to make a sound or light up. When I try, I have to smack the object pretty hard which is supposed to make noise when a 9-12 month old is using it. It works great as a toy hammer and was cheap so it's a bonus in this economy, but it can't make it light up or make noise because it takes so much pressure to power those things. Also he asked aboutโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hammer and hammer toy
Cons
  • Modern

Gave this to my 9 month old great grandson. He loved light and noise and carried them around with him a little. However, my grandson said that it is very difficult to activate the lights and sounds by tapping it like a hammer. He tried, and it took far more strength than a 9-month-old baby could slap. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. It looks and sounds great and can be activated by more than just pressing. Made my great grandson laugh. And it will grow into the ability to prick it to make itโ€ฆ
