Great for owners of AFO

I have been buying these socks for many years and they are of excellent quality. They prevented overheating during the summer months and saved me from possible infection. I like their durability but I hate soft colors. I wish the adult sizes had more color.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Non-Tube Socks best in Medical Supplies and Equipment

Due to pain in the sciatic nerve, my feet are very sensitive and the seam on the toes causes some discomfort. I thought seamless socks from AFO would look like tube socks, but they aren't. These aren't compression stockings that I don't need. The socks are well made and of high quality.

  • Quality Construction

Why do companies withdraw people with disabilities?

Socks are fine. We have no choice in this matter. I think that's why they can charge so much for it? Disabled people who wear leg braces need socks because normal is not a problem for them. It's just a shame I can buy a dozen socks for $16 and my son's socks are $54 for 3 pairs. Welcome to America.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Edited but overpriced

They work great under my AFO friends and it's easy for him to put them on with a sock with one hand. I don't see them reducing the odor caused by the AFO plastic's lack of breathability. They are high enough to fully protect his leg from the orthosis. I'll take easier because it's easy for him to put them on, but I think they're overpriced.

Very comfortable and soft!

I love these socks (wish they weren't so expensive despite all the other AFO expenses). The only problem we have is that my son's feet are very sweaty. His AFOs make matters worse. These socks saved him from nasty foot pains only to change them frequently to avoid sweat blisters on his feet. I end up washing them over and over for a few days because I can't afford to buy more just yet.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Very disappointed with the quality

My son wears these socks every day with his AFOs. We needed new ones and ordered these. After wearing them once, holes will appear in them. You're the right size for him (he's 16 so a grown little one will work). I can't believe how fast they made holes! We've had several pairs over the years that didn't end up with holes. They look much thinner and of poorer quality. For the price, it's ridiculous how quickly they became unwearable! :(

Best AFO Socks

I wear AFO Suspenders. Finding the right pair of socks is not easy. A pair of these SmartKnit socks came with my custom made orthotics. They are very soft and comfortable, I couldn't even resist buying more. They're a bit more expensive, but they're absolutely worth every penny. These are the most comfortable socks I've ever worn and I'm not exaggerating. I've had them for a long time and they have kept their good quality. The only thing I wouldn't do is tumble dry them a lot. They get much…

It is great! They are very soft

They are great! They are very soft, fit perfectly and are perfectly seamless! I wear a prosthetic leg and it's a definite improvement over my last pair of socks! They really help reduce friction and make it more comfortable! My only complaint is that they tend to retain enough moisture, which is a pain in the prosthesis shell not being able to evaporate during use. But I personally found that the fabric on the bottom significantly reduced the amount of moisture on the toe! All in all a great…
