Pretty cool compared to more traditional models. The batteries are included, which is great. I hate it when electronics don't come with the necessary parts! This is probably the third or fourth kitchen scale we have bought in the last few years. They typically only last a few months before failing due to moisture or breaking due to poor assembly. Great product! For a straight dial, this element does the job well; it looks great too! I have compared several reference weights in the 200 to 3000 gram range to laboratory balances and found that the balances were generally within plus or minus 1 gram, as expected. While the scale offers fluid ounces and milliliters, it is based on units of volume and is only suitable for objects with a density comparable to water (i.e. 1.00 grams per milliliter). I was also happy to find batteries (4 x AAA).

I really like this little benchtop kitchen scale. It doesn't take up much space on my countertop yet is easily accessible. The slim design is attractive enough to leave on the counter when not in use. Measurements are accurate and the digital display is large enough to read without glasses. I used my previous scale which is much more accurate (due to microgram resolution not lab tested) which I use for my medications which need to be carefully measured. I've used this scale's precision 10g weight to compare units of measure and they both agree. I also checked the liquid measurement in milliliters and ounces, and while the measuring cup isn't entirely accurate, the scale was very close.
