Nice gloves but the size chart is wrong and the brown color is ugly

The size chart is wrong you need to take a full size then they are still stuck. And brown is terrible and doesn't go with anything. It's a very warm brown that you see in women's clothing and doesn't go with anything I have as a man. Use gray instead.

Pros
  • Decent work
Cons
  • Might hurt

The inseam is very poor and the size chart is wrong

They are great except for the inseam which is really big and thick. I think it takes a bit of getting used to, but without them they would be much better than gloves. And the sizing chart is A LOT different, I measured my hand carefully and still had to go up 2 full sizes to get a pair that didn't cut off my circulation in my hands. That meant 2 returns. very annoying. Otherwise they are a good thickness for medium cold weather or to wear under other gloves. I have a pair of cashmere lined…

Smartwool, more like dumbwool. Holes in the gloves for 3 months.

I bought these gloves on December 28, 2019 with Christmas money. I really liked the look, they were very comfortable and seemed to accomplish what I wanted (lining under a thicker/heavier leather mitten while I was biking and running errands. These gloves had holes on the thumb, index and middle finger since. Given For the premium price I expected them to last longer I don't think I would buy them again.

  • Free for educational purposes

NO TOUCHSCREEN// HOLE AFTER 1 AND 2 MONTHS

UPDATE OF 10 MARCH 2021 IN YOUR CREDIT SMART WOOL accepted the failure of the gloves and refunded my money (minus tax). It was returned as a Smartwool gift card so had to be spent on a Smartwool product. I'm happy with other Smartwool products so this works for me. I wear them mostly under gloves so they are not overused. Only when I use the touch screen do I expose my fingers and they have only been washed once. Also, the thumb and forefinger are too long, making it difficult to operate the…

Wears out VERY quickly! suitable for gloves and mittens

I usually like the quality of Smart Wool products and I was excited to buy these lovely gloves. I have socks that have been heavily used for years and I am very happy with the hat I bought that goes with these gloves. The gloves are a disappointment! The touchscreen tips wore out quickly, small holes appeared in weird knitting places (the back of the thumb?), and then the small holes became big holes. I was hoping to use them for a couple of seasons but they didn't even last a winter. They are…

Very nice lined glove

I bought these gloves as a lined glove to complement my neoprene winter gloves. I have found that the thinness of the glove works well as a base. I really like the extended cuffs on these gloves. This ensures a smooth transition from gloves to coats with no gaps. The only downside I have with these gloves is the length of the fingers. I bought XL, the largest size. The fingers were at least 1/2 inch shorter. A little disappointing.

Pros
  • Good looking
Cons
  • No color required

Terrible quality - accessories

I put them on my skis on a very warm day and they fell apart. There were holes on the fingertips and the places where you touch the electronics have peeled off.

Pros
  • Fits a lot of people
Cons
  • Will be added later

Knitwear - Accessories

They are made from jersey and are not entirely knit like some wool gloves. I didn't find the seams bulky. Apparently people tolerate cold differently. I would consider them suitable for temperatures of forty degrees or brief outdoor times in the thirties. UPDATE: Worn out on the miniature in three months. I have short nails and didn't wear them most of the time (our winter calls for warmer gloves/mittens) so I think this pair wasn't very durable and downgraded.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Not the best
