Smiful Aquarium Submersible Underwater Wireless Review

I love the product but more importantly the fish love it too. Before we bought it, we had a floor lamp on the hood. It was so bright that the fish seemed to flinch and want to swim in the shadows. With this product they appear to be floating rather than floating in the shadows. Our Placo even seems to get out a little more than usual during the day. We also like that the colors can change. It is really worth the price paid.

I've had this light in my 10 gallon tank for about a week. It makes my pool really beautiful! My only complaint would be that the remote control isn't very responsive. The fade/flash buttons are basically the same. Very bright. Like a colorful thunderstorm LOL! The solid color buttons are very pretty, with many color variations to choose from. I love this light so much I have just ordered another one for a young friend. I would recommend this lamp. Worth the money and the company is nice.

I use this LED light in addition to my main LED aquarium light which is white only. Because the color of this light source is adjustable, I set it to a deep dark blue. Then I put the main hood light on a timer and that (now blue) light stays on the whole time. During the day and evening, the lighting in the aquarium is white (the additional blue light is not very noticeable), but at night the timer turns off the white light and the aquarium turns a deep lunar blue. This light is more suited to accent lighting, but even then it's too dim for my 5 gallon and the light itself doesn't illuminate the water enough to see the bright colors, unless my betta , it's right below. To give you an idea of how flimsy it is, I'll probably have to buy 4 or 5 of these to get decent coverage in my 5 gallons. I love this product so much. The top part of my aquarium where the light comes from, the plastic was covered in lime or something and the light was a yellowish color. I tried buying a new aquarium cover but it was almost as expensive as buying a whole new aquarium. With this I can turn off this light and go to a rainbow of colors. You are perfect. I bought two of these. I bought a 7.5" for my 10 gallon and an 11" for my 29 gallon front tanks. You are both great. The connector and receiver look a little cheap, but it's ok. What an upgrade from stock lighting in my 10 gallon tank. I modified the cover to work with these LEDs. Bought two 7.5" headlights and they fit together perfectly. I drilled holes in the existing air vents on the lid to install screw down brackets instead of the supplied suction cups. The lighting is perfect, both lights work with a remote control.
