Description of Smooth 65D Liquid Plastic Casting

unique gradual cure profile that makes it ideal for rotational casting applications ("roto-cast") in a machine or by hand. Low-cost semi-rigid urethane casting resin. Low viscosity for minimal bubble entrapment. Semi-rigid plastic has good impact and abrasion resistance. Vibrant colors are possible by adding SO-Strong color tints or Ignite color pigments.

Ideal for beginner prop makers

To make it easy the product is simple enough for a beginner prop maker with little or no experience/knowledge. Simple 1:1 mix, the resin pours easily and cures to a solid product. I am finally casting my own helmets and am very happy with the quality. DISCLAIMER: The helmets I have molded with this product have slight imperfections due to a mistake I made while making the silicone mold. Mission accomplished. It dries bright white, which is good. I know you can order a color for it. But that's an unnecessary hassle. I'd say definitely do it in a well-ventilated area. I watered two on Saturday. One in the morning and one in the afternoon and my sinuses hurt. I don't normally read package…

It pours easily. Installed quickly. But be careful with the smoke.

I am very happy with this resin. It sets within half an hour after the start of mixing. It installs slower or faster depending on how hot it gets, and the reaction it experiences during installation generates a significant amount of heat. In practice, this means that thin and small castings will demold in 30 minutes, while thicker and/or large (non-hollow) castings can be cured in 10-15 minutes. It is excellent for rotational molding, which is hollow casting where the mold is rotated while the…
