This is a very cool outlet. This saves me a lot of space on my countertop. The shelf was just a brilliant idea. I can put my phone on it to charge. In the picture I am using a shelf for my Alexa Echo Dot and it fits perfectly. The USB ports are also useful for small things like a wireless doorbell (which I have) or anything that requires USB power. This is the best of both worlds. Love it, might get a few more for my other rooms.

I like the pull out shelf that comes with the set and the abundance of sockets that are in the shelter. Which also saves space as many other items (e.g. other pieces of furniture) can be placed next to or around it without affecting its functionality. The tray is suitable for any smartphone. Not necessarily a tablet unless you're leaning it against a wall or something. I want more!

In my opinion this is one of the most important things in your home. Bought to connect a modem. Router, VoIP device, hub, etc. to protect against surges. 6 outlets provide enough points to connect six devices instead of 2. There are also 3 USBs so no extra travel adapters are needed and I can connect 3 USB cables to charge my phone, bluetooth and watch. I think I'll be buying more of these to use in multiple rooms of the house.

Good design and idea. There aren't many outlets in my apartment, so it's very convenient. I like the little shelf above. I leave my phone on while it charges in the kitchen. So it doesn't take up more space on the counter. The USB ports are also very useful. I've tried all of them to make sure they really work. Those who lack sockets benefit from them. Fair warning that if your outlet is slightly crooked, it's easier to tell that's the case.

I have this to plug in my router and tape on top but the pictures are deceiving and an iPhone 6 barely fits in width. Despite the fact that this is a pretty good surge protector to put a phone or small tablet on top of. Adds an extra option for limited space situations and also adds the ability to charge USB without taking up space in the connector. This surge protector is a dream come true! I was playing with a 6 outlet extender but no USB and still didn't have a plug for my phone charger as I had my entire wifi router, modem and everything else plugged into that corner. I finally ordered this and it has three USB sockets, 6 side-facing outlets and a surge protector on top! I am very impressed. The instructions could have been clearer, but were easy to understand. I am removing the bezel from my existing mount so I can use a screw for extra strength, however it is still wobbly but my existing mount might be a bit wobbly which you would never notice with a normal mount. It's not as durable as I expected. It moves when you connect something. The USB hubs were a little stiff and I had a hard time connecting my device, but it worked. It's hard to admire a socket extender, but this device is very effective. It's basically a standard outlet expander with additional USB ports (which is nice) and a top-mounted shelf.
