Great outdoor box to connect all extension cords. Here are some photos I took the day after it rained on the house. As you can see the box is dry.

We have a small bird sanctuary outside our den that has a light on our bottle tree, spotlight and fountain with 2 timers and extension cords and adapters. It works great and keeps all connections dry.

Purchased 3 SOCKiTBOX model 200 for landscape lighting. It's a good size but a bit tight for what I use it for. As you can see from the photos. I had to drill holes for the straps. I love it and am ordering another one for another location.

The Amazon listing includes an image showing the dimensions (second image in listing) of the inside of a medium sized box. The depth and width measurements are wrong in the picture. I have attached the corrected image and a photo showing the measurement. The listing has recorded dimensions indicating the depth and width are "flipped" from the image specification. Of course, the depth is important to me.

I have to reach into this box every day. I couldn't even close it with my hands - I need pliers to close it then I don't know how to open it again without the Olympian touching it! when the wind blows it away or the lid fills with rainwater! I think I need something with a loop and latch so I can open and close it in seconds. THAT'S MISSING! If you want something that locks forever and never opens easily, this will probably work. I am NOT a happy tourist!
