The spikes themselves were excellent, very strong. The wrench that came with the kit was of very poor quality and broke after the first attempt to install spikes in my spear boots.

These sharp cleats will last at least one race. At first glance, the key looks of decent quality, but when the first set of spikes was installed, the key started peeling off. Bought for a key. Looks like I'll have to get a better one soon.

These spikes lasted about two weeks before they started falling out of the shoe. These are regular Nike shoes and they have been rolled up properly and tightly so there is no reason for them to fall out. Lost 5 spikes in one day.

My daughter is a pole vaulter and her Nike shoes lost a few cleats in the first week. We got these as a replacement and they fit perfectly. She prefers these to the ones her shoes came with. The tool works great too and it's nice to have an extra in case the Nike tool gets lost.

This is not a quality product. Look elsewhere and save your money. There is virtually no play on the spikes, making screwing them in with the included wrench impossible. I had to screw them in mostly by hand as the wrench is useless and the spikes are not shaped properly. I lost two spikes the first time. I will look for another source.

I looked for good steel bolts and they are perfect. The wrench that originally came with my spikes was very cheaply made and the metal was bent and would not tighten the metal spikes. The wrench that came with this product was very strong and my spikes really stayed with this wrench. I recommend it to all athletes.
