I was able to install this unit on my RV's air conditioner in less than an hour. The instructions were very easy to follow. Do exactly what the instructions say and don't do anything that isn't in the instructions and you'll be fine! My IPower 1800/2300 generator powers the air conditioner and TV perfectly. I installed this on my 13,500 btu air conditioner and then spent 5 days at my son's house plugging my camper into a standard 20 amp outlet (very few homes have a standard 30 amp outlet).
