Great little scissors. I thought they might be too small but they are just right. Easy to use and very sharp. They cut beautifully even on thick nails. The case is a plus, no more running around in the drawer looking for scissors. This is a definite purchase.

My nails are starting to grow, but I keep bumping into things and breaking them. I needed a sharp little pair of scissors to trim my nails with. I don't use nail clippers or make lots of nail files to trim or shape my nails, I prefer scissors. They are very sharp and durable! They are great for trimming a bent and cracked nail and making thin cuts to keep my nails from growing too far. Using blunt scissors or large nail clippers, I can trim the edge of the nail without bending the whole nail.

Good tight blades for a good cut. Solingen is a good brand of steel cutlery. I bought them for basic facials, brow trimming, etc. where narrow-jointed blades and sharp enough for tiny hairs are needed. Very useful, should last a long time.

These scissors are very sharp and cut smoothly - even using my left hand I had to cut my right nails. The only nail scissors I had that came close to this one I bought in 1949 and they're long gone!

The quality disappointed me. Nail. The scissors didn't cut cleanly, they were no better than the cheap Revlon scissors they were supposed to replace.

I bought these on my pediatrician's recommendation to trim my newborn's tiny nails because baby nail clippers and files didn't work for us. These scissors are very high quality with a beautiful leather holder and work great - possibly the only pair I will need for the rest of my life! Note. I would caution any new parent against using these on newborns unless you know what you are doing as they are very sharp and probably not meant for babies.

When my Solingen shears arrived they were a little smaller than I expected but don't worry. They were sharp and cut my nails clean which is exactly what I wanted!

These are great scissors and Solingen are one of the leading companies. I was hoping for something stronger. I know I shouldn't - but I use these kinds of scissors to trim my little toenails. I can not do this. In other words, scissors are a bit delicate. If that's what you're looking for, buy it.
