This product runs very small. The microwave splatter guard works well, but this product has some cons-1. It's not for a large regular dinner plate and 2. It's not deep enough to fit over a bowl, so you're pretty limited on smaller plates and the few plates it fits. Got this at a discount but I will NOT pay full price as it is limited to what it covers.

Works well, fits our large correl plates even when loaded with food and will withstand repeated use and dishwasher washes. My only complaint is that the little combs that help you lift the hot lid are small and are next to the steam holes so it can be difficult to get a good grip without burning yourself. But overall I'm satisfied. My last one kind of melted, so yeah, much better! Also rate the height on it.

The Progressive Dome Microwave was intended to replace the Magnet Dome Microwave I bought from a TV commercial years ago and accidentally walked on one hot stovetop to melt it. I had a very flat microwave lid that always touched the food. The handle was inserted into the lid, which exacerbated the problem. I would have to wash it every time, otherwise I risk getting infected. This case has none of those issues and is really well thought out. The holes in the sieve prevent leakage, but are not so large that the food does not dry out. The small wings make it easier to handle the hot lid and serve as legs for a colander.
